Cannabis Nature is a company that specializes in cannabis education, development, procurement and distribution. A multi-platform strategy that focuses on revenue models, which encompass various points of the supply chain in the multi-billion-dollar cannabis industry. The team is led by Dr. Mohyuddin Mirza and Ret. Col. Richard F Pucci, whose goal is to assemble an Indigenous Relations Team to help drive development through high community involvement.
The purpose of this program is to forge a long-term strategic relationship between First Nations and Cannabis Nature to develop the First Nations Community Sustainability (FNCS) protocol. The protocol, aims to facilitate cannabis business development opportunities on sovereign nation land. With Federal legalization and policies in flux, cannabis opportunities for First Nations enables CNFN’s First Nation partners to participate in the growth of the multibillion dollar cannabis industry.
Cannabis Nature’s model provides an early opportunity for cannabis business development. Cannabis Nature’s FNCS protocol enables First Nations the opportunity to be first to market in the Alberta Cannabis economy. Early product and brand development will enable Cannabis Nature and First Nations an early advantage.
Mentoring, vocational training, and educational programs will be the start in helping First Nation communities in developing business operations and revenue management. By developing communities, the intent is to provide tools to maximize the potential of the business opportunity.
With Cannabis based edible and derivative products not expected to be available for general sale until 2020, an immense opportunity exists to establish immediate retail sales channels with First Nations. While establishing retail sales, extraction and growing facilities will be phased into the business model furthering community development.
CNFN’s products and services will cater to a wide range of customers through an emerging industry that will compete with the spirit, wine and beer industry. Products will cater to both recreational customers as well as those seeking alternative forms of medical treatment.
CNFN has a team of experienced professionals from a diverse set of cannabis-related sectors. The team will be led by an internationally recognized scientist and 2014 inductee into the Alberta Agriculture Hall of Fame. With over four decades of experience in agricultural sciences and public service, Dr. Mirza’s expertise is expected to be pivotal in the establishment of the Indigenous Relations Team.
